Despite reading this thread in its entirety, I see nothing of value.

That's cool guys... shove it in the 360 buyers face.
I was one that waited in line 15 hours, took the 360 home, and it was deffective. The DVD Drive won't read my discs. They won't even send me a free game or something for it.

I highly recommend NOT using a Mac for any kind of gaming - graphic deisgn SOMETIMES, but games? No. PCs are better for that. With that said... I did a lil upgrading this preholiday season (Got my shopping done, had a bunch of cash left over).
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
eVGA Geforce 7800GT 256-P2-N516 Video Card (Two. SLI.)
CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB
SCEPTRE X9g-GAMER Black 19" 12ms LCD Monitor
Now I just gotta wait for these goodies to come in the mail :3 Can't wait to instal 'em.

Right, but a repair is the least I could expect. If they sell me a $400 piece of metal that does nothing, and refuse to repair it, then they'll be getting a lawsuit for breaking some kind of business rule. And I asure you, in this day and age, they would get sued.
I'm saying, that for paying $400 and waiting in line 15 hours and spending another $200 on software, all to get a defective system.... I should be entitled to something if they're going to make me wait two weeks to play this thing.
Over the summer I work at a Saussage Selling booth at the Polish-American Festival. If we were to sell someone a Kielbassa-Dog with cold meat, the customer would come back and demand a new Kielbassa-Dog. We'd grab the most readily-available Dog, and give it to the customer, even if we're running low, because they already waited in line. We wouldnt make them wait another 10-15 minutes while we put it through the grill; and if we did, we'd give them somethign for thier time.
Sure, we don't want to waist the meat, but that's our problem for giving them the faulty meat in the first place. I didnt pay $400 for a repaired Xbox. I payed $400 for a brand new, working Xbox
It's all about Time and Money. Essentialy, I traded 15 hours of my time, and $400 of my money for thier Xbox 360. A 360 is valued, to me, at 15 hours and $400. If they're going to suck 15 more days of my time, I should be given something else, besides just a free repair. Again, they're OBLIGED to repair my Xbox. I traded my Time and Money for a working Xbox. They've breached thier implied contract with me, selling me a broken system. ONLY repairing the broken merchandise is a slap in the face to me, really.
